Cookie Drop is approaching on Feb. 28th and the orders are in to the
bakers as planned. We are initial ordering about 23,000 boxes!
Congratulations to the Cookie Managers, Leaders, Parents, AND
specially the scouts!

I've created a "Cookie Drop Plan" on our web site with as much detail
as I can figure out ahead of time.  If you are the pickup person for
your troop, or you are one of the volunteers *please* review the plan
at:

  Select "Cookie Managers", and then "Cookie Drop Plan"

Although it looks complex, each task is very simple, and the
supporting materials should make it easy to follow. I suggest that you
print out a copy and bring it with your for reference.

We have about 8 full-time equivalent volunteers who have confirmed
their attendance with me (this is the minimum; one per cookie
type). We also have some part timers, and some who signed up but have
not confirmed with me by e-mail. Let me know if you are coming but are
unconfirmed. Extra volunteers are welcome.

NOTE: I will not be working on cookie planning over the next week (Feb
18-25).  I'll be handling e-mails starting again on Feb 26, and I'll
be at Camp Rice Moody nearly all day on the 28th handling the truck
delivery in the morning and laying out the facility in preparation for
the big event. I'll be marking out all the floor space to accept the
huge cookie stacks, designating traffic flows with floor tape, and
hanging signs. I'll be reachable by cell phone at 339-222-1581.
