Reading Girl Scouts : Cookie for Our Military Troops Overseas

In the past years we have worked with the Massachusetts National Guard at Camp Curtis in Reading to help donate Girl Scout Cookies to soldiers overseas.

Its very easy to do and the customers really like donating cookies.

• When the Girl Scouts are selling at booth sales, have a sign or suggest to customers to buy a box of cookies to donate to soldiers.
• Its a good idea to have a seperate box (for example, use a Rubbermaid box decorated with Red, White and Blue) to store the cookies and keep them seperate from the other cookies.
• Other options are when selling door to door suggest to donate cookies or when we deliver the cookies we include a letter thanking them and offering them the opportunity to donate cookies to soldiers overseas.

Donna O'Connell will provide dates and times for each Troop to bring the cookies to Camp Curtis. It's located right in Reading on Haverhill Street. If the dates and times are inconvenient, Donna can work with you to figure something out together.
